The 2010 Phillies went 97-65 and won the NL East Crown for the 4th consecutive season. By all estimates this would be considered a successful season. After sweeping the Reds in 3 straight in the LDS the Phightin's were bounced from the playoffs by the eventual champion SF Giants in 6 games. San Fran had just too much pitching for the Phillies, who targeted their 3rd consecutive trip to the fall classic. Newly acquired Roy "Doc" Halladay won the Cy Young Award with a 21-10 (2.44) season. The famed bats of Citizen's Bank Ballpark went cold for Doc. If they hit the way they hit in 2009 he would have easily won 30 games. The highlight of his season was his no hitter of the Reds in the NLDS. Frank Selders will be managing them. This will be Franks' first full season in KOD. Frank has on occasion subbed for us and has played in many online tournaments. For the past few seasons the Philadelphia franchise was owned by Justin Ryan, who decided to move on and manage the Astros. The actual template for the 2010 Topps set was not going to be an easy one to make. While doing a google search I found a website that actually had a modified version of the template and let you create the cards online, which saved me a lot of time and effort. Topps left off 23 players from the 2010 Phillies set. Some were late season call ups and others played so infrequently that they didn't justify a card. Here are the missing 23:
